hi ,we are going to apply for a full and final settlement lump sum iva my partener and i have debts of 180,ooo ,only 69,000 is my husbands debt the rest is in my name .we have sold our property and have 40 % in the £ to offer into our iva ,if the iva is rejected could i pay off his creditors with the lump sum so he is debt free and then declare myself bankrupt ? i have no vehicles etc in my name they belong to my husband who is self employed ,would he be affected in any way ? thankyou for your advice .

No because you would be favouring certain creditors[his] and denying your creditors your share of the equity.
