The only thing I can say is unbelievable!
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi
No they can not ask for extra payments they are bound by the IVA agreement and this would affect you IVA, But i woulnd;t worry too much it will filter down eventually. When was your IVA approved?

To everyone starting an IVA,once accepted you ARE protected from any action.I kept the name and address of my IP handy and simply passed the details to them.Remember you have probably done enough worrying to last a life time so now is the time to relax, put all of it behind you and open a nice bottle of chardonnay tonight (£3.99 won't hurt)

I couldnt say on here what I think of Mercers. I would ask your IP to contact them and barclays, I had to resort to this as even 3 weeks on they were still calling asking for payments. Nothing I told them made the slightest bit of difference. It had to come from my IP in writing sent to both mercers and barclays... then they finally shut up.

I can totally agree about Mercers being a pain , I thought once my proposal went out that would be the end of it, only the start as far as mercers are concerned, and they can get down right nasty. One week to go.

Hi
Just shows how ill informed call center staff can be.
They obviously had no idea as to the workings or legality of an IVA.
