Manchester will be the one for me hopefully. I know it's a long way from my house but I have all my family in Manchester so apart from fuel doesn't cost us anything to stay there, although, if I could and know the date near enough in advance I might book a £19 travelodge room and leave daughter at Mum's (I do that sometimes too).

Hi Melanie. yes I was on nights, as always, just got in bed and saw this.
I dont do a lot of stamping nowadays, lol, but will look for somwhere suitable. Do you want out of the city centre. Ask admin for my email and let me know what want me to look for and I will try my hardest to find some possible venues for you to peruse. It might be a good idea to sort it out fairly early, as near to xmas a lot of hotels have work xmas do's.
I will start to look tonight.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Good idea Ang. Admin - could you send me Aguise's e-mail address please. Ang - I think out of the city centre would be better, but perhaps still somewhere where public transpor is good - Airport area perhaps?

Hi Ang

In my experience the Premier Inns are always good value, or the Ibis that we had in Bradford was good value also ... I think the success that we've had at Portsmouth and Bradford were where the venue was situated nearer to a good motorway network as opposed to previous venues near railway stations which generally seem to be in city centres and entail pricey hotels ... just a thought.

I definately agree with that Debbie - and Birmingham does have a good public transport network out of the city centre. We can probably arrange some transport for people from the station to the hotel in any case.
