Have fun everyone, it sounds like it's going to be a great meeting[:D][:D]
Would have loved to have been able to come and tried to rearrange work but I am in a hotel in Newcastle at the moment , so a bit far to come down and back up again.

Really hope the Birmingham one happens next month and I can come as would be great to put some faces to names[:)]

Know how you feel cat, I will find it really nerve racking when I finally do attend one[:I]

The meeting was great - and really good to meet Mr & Mrs Skint, John and Gwen Tegg, Size 5, Ian Millington and of course Mr Davie.

Andrew Graveson and I had a terrible journey back, it rained all the way that we made very slow progress, and by the end of it we were so tired we were starting to see little green men in the middle of the road!!

Lots of things were discussed, but mainly the success of the forum and how it brings many people together to share individual experiences. I would like to encourage everyone to try and attend one of the meetings, and it will be interesting to hear Mr & Mrs Skint's feedback as I think they were both quite apprehensive at the beginning.

Just to say thanks to Andy and everyone else who attended last night. It was a great evening and a pleasure to meet you all.

Whilst we were there there was a commotion outside the hotel with police vans et al. Sadly on the news this morning I learned that a young man had been fatally stabbed. Somewhat incredibly, a 66 year old man is now in police custody. What a time we live in!

Well.....after being so nervous all the way, we got there and were greeted by a very laid back Andy who put us at ease straight away.
To be honest, i thought i would feel a bit intimidated as everybody else there were proffessionals. After the introductions though i started to feel much more relaxed and comfortable.

Melanie wasnt as scary as i was expecting infact she was quite the opposite.
It was great to meet Andrew in person after all the nagging phone calls i gave him while our remortgage was being dealt with. Hes great and very tall. Im only short anyway but i felt even shorter standing next to him.

John Tegg and his wife are such a lovely couple and we both really enjoyed chatting to them. John has such a soothing voice, i could have listened to him all night.

All in all, everybody was very down to earth and im glad i went.
I would deffinately go to another.

I told you it would be fine. I,m really hoping everyone comes to the birmingham one, is it too far for you ? Birmingham believe it or not is a great place to have a wander around, you could make it a day out. I think a lot of people get a bad impression, the city centre is lovely, the bullring worth going just to see the big bronze bull and all within 100yds of the brittannia hotel. I actually made a rare trip in yesterday as hubby was off and we tend to go wandering, a lady spoke to me in the lift and said she just couldnt believe all the change, she had studied here 22 years ago and she said how lovley it was , it looked like a different city. ( is this working lol )
I am glad you went and enjoyed it. I spoke to John on the phone and he is a lovley person, so easy to speak to and yes he should have gone on the radio.
