Hi

We've had notification that our creditors meeting will take place on Friday 12th October at 3.30pm!! I'm worried that the postal strike will impact it but I don't know if creditors will log their votes by phone or letter - does anyone know?

Also Am Ex - to whom I owe the least have instructed sols - they wrote to me and I told them about IVA and now I've received some sort of Court letters that I have to complete within 14 days.

I spoke to my IP's rep about this and she said I must not ignore them but need to send them back. I'm not sure which of these forms I need to complete - am I admitting the claim which was originally 1088.94 but they now list as 1485.12 because of the charges they have added on, I didn't miss any payments as I continued to make token payments and the amount for them was enough to cover their minimum payment so I don't know why they're being so harsh. Any help would be appreciated. [?]

we were advised to make token payments to all our creditors - but to be honest most have said they only want the full amount, which we haven't been able to do - hence our current situation.

who knows - we haven't had a great time so far, what with the delay then the calculation for the proposal being wrong (found out when we questioned it). We've just got our fingers crossed for next week and hopefully their expertise will help for the meeting.

I was advised to make token payments too, my creditors didn't like it either. I felt better giving them something rather than nothing though. I paid them the amount I would be paying if the iva went through, pro rata.
Good luck for the 12th

Hi Rainbow
As your meeting is a week on Friday it will happen before Amex get a judgement.Your IVA will stop this claim in it,s tracks if successful.
Speak with your IP again and see what they want you to fill in and why ?
