HI ALL.
Finally we are now on a dmp and we are happy that we managed to get this as we did not want to go bankcrupt.
what i would like to know is
AS ANYONE OWED THERE PARENTS ALOT OF MONEY?
AND CANNOT PAY IT BACK
HOW DO YOU APPROACH THEM AND TELL THAT WE ARE ON A DMP.
The problem is that they have always saved there money and they have alot of it
I must stress that i want to pay them back but cant as we dont have enough left at the end of the month
when they knew how much our mortgage was they could not understand why it was so much
what they dont understand is that they had a mortgage for £3,100 and times have changed and we pay more now,im not saying that they didnt struggle i just want to make them understand.
they have also said to a family member that they cannot understand why we have never got any money and we spend alot.
eh what as it got to do with them ( this was before we owed them money)
my husband feels alittle upset as it is his parents and he feels that he is being treated badlly and he does not want to do go out with his brother anymore ( he is 38 and still lives at home and as lots of money too) and my husband feels his mum and dad think the sun shines out his bum
im not jelous of the money i want to pay them money but at the moment my family comes first.
i have two children and i want to try and help my husband feel better but he cant say anything to his parents.
my mum knows and she as been very supportive and said to concentrate on getting sorted and she is there for us.
if i was back at work things may get betterbut im still waiting for my back operation.fingers crossed see surgoen on monday.
