Hi mph, are you from the US? If so I don't think anyone on the forum would be qualified to advise on US law. You would be best contacting a lawyer in the States.

This poster has applied for the US equivalent of our IVA procedure - Chapeter 13 of the US Bankruptcy code. I know a little about this, but would not feel qualified to answer specifically, the other posters advice to contact a US based attorney is the best we can do here.
The geographic spread of the forum widens!

If there is ever a need for a US office for my practice, Florida would be the ideal spot! You will all be invited to the grand opening!
