I am having a 1 grand payrise in November. A modification of my IVA was that I had to increase the payments by £80 - they did not specify what part of my budget the money should come from. I have been struggling with this and wondered if it would be possible for me to keep the payrise money or if they would object to this?

Hi
It will be up to your IP.Why was the £80 increase factored in ? Have you had any increased expenditure to offset the payrise ?

The creditors wanted more money, but didn't say which part of my budget the £80 had to come from. I have taken it off my food and am struggling.

Hi
I would argue that your 1k payrise should be used to cover the extra £80 that you had to find. They will just about cancel each other out.
Have a word with your IP and explain the difficulties that you are having

That's the way I would play it. If the IP's got a heart, he should agree to that.
