hi again, phoned the court and couldn't get a court date for the br untill the 23rd, 13 more days of worry.
one question please, got the results of my credit report back, some of the debs i've got havent got a clue where they came from:157 here and 657 there.
also i know i had a loan of 10000 from tesco and that has not been listed-why?
another company has caught up with me, if they took it to county court how long does it take?
i've been defaulting on these loans for 4 years-would the or not take to kindly to this?
thanks for your continuing support.

Hi Sean and welcome to the forum

At this stage it doesn't really matter whether you have been paying the loans at all. The important thing is that you declare all of your debts that are known to you.

Melanie...could it be that some creditors are listed on equifax and others on experian...? I got credit files from both and they did have different things on them...would it be wise to get a copy from both credit companies..?

Hi Angie

I have to confess that I am not an expert on the credit scoring agencies, but suspect that some banks may not use both of them. To avoid any confusion, I would ask for a copy from each agency.

Sean, keep ringing the court - they may have a cancellation which will save you a few days of worry!

Hi
I can confirm that some debts only show on one credit reference agency,so you will need to have a report from both of them for a true picture

As Andy explains certain creditors only provide information to one of the three credit reference agencies.

Even then not all items are always listed... there are a couple of reasons for this.

There are also differences in the dates that data has to be supplied by lenders so again you can get anomalies.

That picture is a bit better Andy........

thanks for all the advice, i just want to go into bk prepared, i havent got alot to lose in money terms (dont earn much)but will the or take the tax credits, carers allowence and the dla off my partner as we have a disabled son.
it,s just me who's going bk. if we did't have these benifits we'd never survive.
moved to a new house that is rented with an housing ass. and that is for my disabled son, it would be to much if they took it away from us.
I look at the bk forms , what do the courts allow you amonth to feed a family of 4?
we can easily spend £200 amonth on petrol going to appointments and alos my son needs regular days out as he gets very frustrated and disruptive if he's stuck in the house,he also likes using the computer which we pay about £15 amounth-will the or allow this?

thanks for your patience.

Hi
as it is just you that is going bankrupt then your partners income, benefits will be unaffected.
Put down what you realistically spend and the OR will either agree with it or make some changes.
