If I am bound by the conditions of a joint IVA, what would happen if one of us is made redundant?

Hi r2a and welcome

As far as I understand it - I am a debtor as well!!! - if either party is made redundant you would have to inform your IP as this will no doubt affect your monthly payments. Contact your IP to discuss this as they are the best people to advise.

Is there a possibility that either of you are going to be made redundant in the near future?

In the instance that either one of you are made redundant you would need to contact your I.P as soon as possible to see what the agreed arrangements can be.

If needed they can give you a payment break from your IVA payments, which you can then pay back at the end of the IVA or pay alittle more each month till paid off.
