if i have a offshore account (ie isle of man jersey etc) will it be closed when i am made bankrupt in the uk?

Hi
You have to declare all your assets in bankruptcy,no matter where they are.

You will need to declare this along with any other assets that you hold outside of the UK, i.e. holiday homes, timeshares etc...

And yes - the money you hold within the account will be handed to the Trustee and the account then likely closed by the holding bank.
