I am having my creditors meeting on the 22nd Oct at 11.15 my iva proposal is for 41p in the pound. I have 16000 worth of debts wish me luck, Im a bit scared because I have read that a lot of companies are failng iva's

Just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum. The very best of luck to you for the 22nd. I know how stressfull it is but try not too worry to much I am sure things will be fine [:D]!!

Hi Lankm,
I know that you are feeling anxious and scared at the moment, have faith in your I.P, I dont believe they would've taken your case on if there wasn't a chance of acceptance.
An IVA failing and a IVA rejection are two different things, once your IVA has been accepted it can really only fail by missing more than 3 payments without letting your I.P know etc.
However an IVA rejection is if your creditors dont agree to your proposal.
Try and dwell on the positives [:D]

i think you will be fine. creditors meeting day is very stressful but if it is agreed you will feel fantastic and quite light headed for the rest of the day! (i did!)
