Following on from another thread i woundered if this would help...i am almost sure something like this is already on here but....

How do you know who to go with...?
How do you know they are doing whats right for you...?
what questions could we be asking to help make our choice...?
What should we look out for (good and bad)...?
How can we find out if they are reputable..?
Is recomendation the best way...?

Dont be afriad to ask questions...link your questions to the answers that hopefully will be given to the above...if they are reputable they wont mind one bit...i personally would have my doubts if anyone got all defensive about me asking questions like...How long have you been doing this...? and Whats you success rate...? Not just succesfully accepted but all the way through...!!

Maybe another one should be done for ....

How can I ensure my IVA is succesful (to even the balance)

With guides and hints to YOUR part in the agreement

Things like...

Read all documentation...if you dont understand it then have it explained again to you...

Keep your IP informed at all times and make no financial desisions without first asking your IP.

(sorry about my spellings) xxx

And read my blog an "Choosing an Advisor". It provides some very basis questions to ask which posters may find useful.
