Hi james and welcome to the forum

What affect has your wife's lack of income had on your ability to fund your IVA, and why is she unable to work? Did you discuss this with your IP prior to your marriage?

Welcome to the Forum James,

You definitley need to discuss this with your I.P and make them aware that your wife cannot work etc. You may be able to lower your payments but this will need to be justified, for a permanent lower disposable income your I.P will need to hold a variation with the creditors to see if this will be accepted.

You need to discuss this with your IP as soon as you can. It may be possible for your IP to secure agreement from your creditors to reduce payments but this would be dependant on the circumstances surrounding this.

Oliver
