Just been speaking to NR explained whats going on re IVA process. Everyone who we spoke to was very polite and helpful compared to what i have been reading on the forum, was dreading ringing them but all was fine Natwest is the worst we have had so far.

Hi plec,

I too found NR polite however I dont think thats the beef everyone has with them, its not so much their telephone manner but the difficulty it has been with them having accepted IVA's, they reject a high percentage, and feedback is nigh on impossible.

I dont want to paint a negative picture for you and wish you all the best with your IVA proposal. As far as telephone calls were concerned it was Goldfish that were the worst, they were relentless regardless of how many times I told them what was happening, and it continued in bankruptcy until I complained.

Good luck

Pippa

Thanks Pippa

We shall see because they are one of are lowest creditors so not bother about them we just need Natwest to say yes!

Will keep updating.

Lets have high hopes & skint pockets!!

There was a post on this forum yesterday with someone getting an adjournment on an IVA meeting that was cancelled with Black horse and NR as creditors - it seems a turning point in their attitude is anticipated???

MBNA were the worst for me - rude and persistent. Natwest were fine and voted yes to my proposal.

Since I've gone BR the Tesco and Littlewoods take the prize for rudeness and downright stupidity!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi plec
Good luck with your IVA.
Northern rock have stopped many a good IVA by their near automatic rejection stance, lets not forget that. However as Soneyse2t5 has noted NR may be changing their policy, fingers crossed

Hi Mrs Plec

Good to see you supporting your hubby - I am sure he really appreciates this. Try and get him to relax and leave it with his IP - who I am sure will do the very best for you both.

He has become a little more relaxed last night & today as he bought some alcohol (from Morrisons as it was on offer at 2 for £16) & mixing it with his painkillers also helped as wasn't able to drink much as he felt pissed after 5 cans. This all helped as he slept through the night without waking himself or me up, which was a good.
