it reads...

Dear Angela

An open university postgraduate student, who is on part time secondment to the insolvency service, is undertaking an independant research project as part of a masters degree in social research techniques. The topic chosen is the issues that may influence the success of failure od IVA's and this covering letter is an introduction to this project.

Although being facilitated by this agency this research is being conducted independently and the attatched explanatory note sets out the aims and objectives of this project.

List of questions..

Then a bit i fill in for a telehone interview..

Then a list of other stuff like a questions and answers thing....about why me..what is involved and what are the possible disadvantages of me taking part...(odd question) but the answer was... The main risks are (i) you might give me information that is detrimental to you or your organisation: and (ii) the information may not be accurately reported.

Mmmmmm...think i'll leave it...i aint sure about this.

Hi
Well that's the correct address for the insolvency service so rest assured that it is bona fide and not a scam.

Perhaps a call to the Open University might be a good idea as if there is anything dodgy going on they wouldn't think kindly of their name being used in disrepute. I would imagine it would connected to the school of Business Studies? You could get the OU phone number via their website
