Recieved a letter today from Integrity Financial Services, Drayton Court, Drayton Road, Solihull, West Midlands, B90 4NG in total violation of my registration with the Mailing Preference Service.

They got my details from the IVA register, something really has to be done about this. Just because I am in a IVA does not give these companies the right to mail me their details. I DONT WANT THIS JUNK and is a total waste of my time and I live in fear of these types of letters falling into the wrong hands, another reason why I did not go down the route of BR in the first place to avoid this publicity and other people I know finding out about my situation

They are all just vultures, after my money, or lack of it no doubt!

Just wanted to publically name and shame these people for violating the MPS rules.

As I said on the other post I am not happy with them either. My name followed by my previous names in brackets, absolutely not necessary. Hubby had onwe as well. What a waste of paper.

Like inaiva I also received a letter from Integrity - my 3rd junk mail in 2 weeks claiming to be able to reduce my payments blah blah blah. At the same time I also received a letter from The IVA Council - which really did worry me. Thanks to this website I've been able to find out information about them before making the mistake of phoning them. I also took out my IVA instead of BR to keep what I thought were private details private! I agree that something has to be done about the IVA register - what about data protection, identity theft etc? In seconds I had managed to find my own details & countless others if I had wanted to - this can't be right surely?!

Like most people I was under a lot of stress leading up to the time I took out my IVA - however the unwanted letters etc stopped once the decision had been made & a stress free 12 months have followed. Now I am receiving junk mail of this kind again from unscruplous companies - something must be done about these companies.[/font=Arial]

Andy, have you thought about approaching Watchdog / money programmes or some aspects in the media to notify them of your petition? The reason being I was dissapointed to only see 250 signatures, when we can clearly see the errors of having the IR open to everyone.

Just wanted to say that I saw something on MoneySupermarket.com the other day and they completely trashed the IVA Council. Told people to stay away from them. Found it by accident though, so couldn't say where it was.
