Hi, Does anyone heard of IVA Council? Have you got a call telling you that you are a victim of missold of IVA and A company can represent you to claim your money back? and they will represent u to apply for bankcruptcy? I have! Please clarify. Thank you.

Hi,
There have been various posts regarding the IVA Council. As I remember the advice given was to ignore them as they have only got your name from the insolvency register and know nothing about your IVA or your personal circumstances at the time.

Many on the forum have had the letters from the IVA council as they trawl the insolvecy register and send generic letters to all, they know nothing about your iva and cannot know if you were mis sold or not.
If you are happy in your iva and were advised of all your other options at the time then the letter will be one for the bin.
I would also let your IP know as they should want to know that IVAC are targetting their clients.
