Hi there

The first thing I would do is have a telephone convesation with my IP and see if anything can be done to accomodate the change in your work practices.

Also get your contract of employment out and have a read through and see if you would be affected by bankruptcy.

I really woul urge you to have a good chat with your IP as something my be able to be done to help you.

I am sure a professional will be along soon to offer further advice

Hi,

Ip's can be a nightmare to get hold of, well the ones from big companies anyway.

Try this link and enter the name of your IP and it will give you an email address.

I find they reply MUCH quicker via this route. You deal with your IP instead of the admin staff (who can be horrendous) I had lots of porblems with my IP until i gt their direct email. Now i usually get a reply within the hour. Make sure you put a return receipt on to prove delivery :o)

Good luck [:)]

if you can't find anything in your employment contract you could ring HR anonomously, and ask if br would affect your job,

I believe you should be able to keep your job as a civil servant but you must report it to your HR team. However, the response can vary across departments as my understanding is that bankrupt civil servants are not allowed to deal with financial tasks. Check your staff handbook and it might also be helpful to discuss with your TU rep.

Hi Paulanylight,

Is there no way that you can save your IVA. Just seems a shame that 16mths in your va couldfail. If you go Brpt you will add on possible 36mths of payments so a real shame.

I would send another letter,by recorded delivery and then contact the Association of Insolvency Practitioners and make a complaint.

I am sure that one of the IP's who regularly post on here could help you further. You can request a review etc.
