I joined ww last week, finally too the bull by the horns, after getting control of my financial situation decided to tackle my weight issue, first wi tomorrow so fingers crossed for me :) OH is eating more healthy too so he will also be shedding the weight. I find shopping for fresh better, go to the local market for fresh stuff £5 for a bag of potatoes/carrotts/suede/ that kind of thing. to be honest, i now eat better and more healthier post IVA than before as managing the debts the only thing I would cut down on was food, so really enjoying this as the moment, Good Luck everyone will keep you updated if thats okay

Good luck tonight!

I don't have a market near me that doesn't involve a car journey and car park fees so it's the supermarket for me.

do you have a recipe for the tomato sauce that you had with the chicken on Monday? That sounds really nice!
All I use for any tomato sauce is passata and herbs. This one is fry a finely chopped onion with a clove or 2 of finely chopped garlic. Add courgettes and chorizo, fry a couple of minutes longer. Add passata, add herbs, season and add chicken at the end heating it through. I'll chuck some olives in with it too.

You can get passata in any supermarket, it looks more expensive than chopped tomatoes but you get twice as much so works out about the same. I prefer it for sauces as it's much thicker and richer but still point free.

Good luck with your weigh in GettingHelp [:)]

Dieting on an IVA? You should try bdieting when cutting out cigarettes!

I stopped fags 32 days ago, and I have put on 10lbs in weight! (weighed last night).

Hideous

Well done, you've got more willpower than me!

I'm not looking forward to weighing in this week as I've been quite bad and it's now damage limitation!

I've managed my first day and the silly thing is I feel so much better, I usually by now feel bloated and lethargic, I may still be lying on the sofa but I feel ok.

You can do it Skip xx
