As part of a LL.M.research thesis, I am looking at fast track IVA's and whether they actually work. The research will consist of a questionnaire and, in a few cases, personal interview. I am looking to see how they are promoted, what awareness there is, what guidance from the OR, success or failure of those tried, their relationship with "normal" IVA's. If anyone with experience of these, good or bad, is willing to help, please contact me.

They are very rare, most OR offices will not do them, and the likelihood of a debtor having gone through the process of a bankruptcy, to then present an IVA usually is only applicable in certain circumstances.

I think your first port of call should be the Insolvency Service on this particular subject as they would probably be able to give you some statistical information.

Contact them via http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/contactus/contact.htm

They may point you in the direction of a local office where you may, and only may, be able to speak with an Official Receiver directly.

It must be worth a try.
