Hi all. Just found this place via Google while bored at work lol and have to say wish I had discovered it a long time ago, especially during the long months of hell before I got my IVA!

I hope to share many of my experiences and hopefully learn a lot of things as well.

Hey Penny thanks for the welcome. Yeah I've already learnt some great things and it's good to know I'm not alone.

It's hard for my family and friends to know how hard it is and how lonely sometimes.

Agreed Luke. Some of us have poured our heart out on these forums because "debt" is such a lonely place to be......after all its not something we can readily admit to our friends and families.....but you will soon find that theres many others in the same position who are non-judgemental and will help you.

Theres also many experts frequent these boards at all times of night, day and weekends so your never more then a few hours away from any answers or advice.

I honest to god don't know how I have survived and managed to never have a serious problem making the payments (I was 50p short one month though because of a bill and the Standing Order for my IVA was rejected and it cost me £19.50 in Bank Charges doh!!)

This place is heaven sent and everyone is so friendly. I just hope I can offer advice to help others given my experiences.
