Eversheds are solicitors, and Maxdebt I think are a debt firm, who Barclaycard sell most of their debts to.
Everyone gets a letter from them with the same thing. Mine went in the shredder.

They buy debt cheaply from a lot of the banks, I have quite a collection of those letters!
It's nothing to worry about, they will deal directly with your IP and you won't hear from them again.

I think (if i remember rightly) that Eversheds are a firm of solicitors that act on behalf of Max Recovery.
Its quite normal for debts to be sold on to them. They wont hassle you as they know they have to wait for a dividend just the same as any other creditor.

whilst on the subject of dca's
anyone know if dca's are more likley out accept iva proposals than normal creditors seeing as they buy the debt for a fraction of the cost ?
im building up a tidy collection of these

They don't tend to vote on the IVA - this will revert back to the original creditor.

Nottsguy, you may still get letters and phone calls, but the info will eventually filter through and they will stop. (hopefully!) X
