Hi
my creditors meeting today has been postponed untill next week.
The reason for this is my husband and i were doing a joint iva and my husbands largest creditor black horse has rejected it.
The ip has said she will see what she can do but as the loan was under 1 year she does not think they will change thier mind meaning mine wont go through either.
Anyone had any expierence with black horse??

Stressed, that is a bummer.

The only dealings I've had with them is with a secured loan, and we had no trouble with them.

I hope it can be sorted for you.

Hi
I feel absolutly gutted and close to tears had all the worrying this morning to find out its prob gonna be a no.
Im terrified our only option will be to go bankrupt and then lose the house.

Would it not be possible for you to do a separate IVA and your husband do a DMP, at least temporarily while you sort yourselves out?

Im not sure how that works think i only had enough money to service mine with husbands money together x

as kallis3 says a possible solution would be you to do the iva and a dmp for hubby in the short term and maybe represent hubbys later on or possibly when the siva comes into use.
Poor thing I can well understand how frustrating and upsetting this is for you. Hang in there. Your Ip should advise as well on possible solutions.

You could both do a DMP in the short term.

Your IP will be able to tell you what your options are after next weeks meeting.

To avoid the house issue, maybe a joint DMP in the short term is indeed the answer. There is nothing, as others have said, to stop you re-presenting your proposals later on.

Good luck and regards.

Not sure if there is a specific time. I was told that if mine had failed, they would try again in 6 months.
