the £600.00 is non returnable and its for looking at the case if the can do something for me then i will have to pay more no figures have been mentioned but he was implying thousands not hundreds

It should not cost you anything for someone to assess your case. That should be done on a free of charge basis, and many Insolvency Practitioners would be happy to do this on that basis.

am15 I would seriousy consider changing companies and quickly!

It may be better to cut your losses and try a none fee charging company.
If they are telling you there may be more fees and you wont get them back you could be well out of pocket and no closer to a sollution.
