Hi

been having loads of trouble with our car, 2 major faults and roughly £1500 to put right. My mother in law very very suprisingly has today said if we want to change it she will pay for it. we are awaiting our iva proposal and i am worried if we would be able to do this. any thoughts . abby

That's a great offer Abby and I'm sure your IP wouldn't see that as a problem. X

Hi
You can do this no problem at all,I presume that it will be gifted money or money that you will pay back after your IVA has completed

We have to put it on charge every night, so will probably save loads on electricity.

It will be a gift, she is adament that she does not want it back, i think she just wants to take the pressure off us a little bit which is lovely of her.x

The car will definately be treated as a gift, and how kind of your MIL to make you such a good offer at this point in time. One less worry for you whilst the IVA is being finalised!
