You should have every confidence in your IP, Fuzzy, to have helped you to put the best possible IVA forward, and therefore a negative vote should not be an issue. The very best of luck to, and keep those positive thoughts flowing along the way.

Everybody feels anxious before the creditors meeting, its natural for you to be feeling like that. Just try to keep yourself busy. I'm sure the very fact that you have been in a DMP shows your creditors that you do want to pay back as much as you can.
Good luck xxxx

I didn't let any thought other than a positive outcome enter my head. I pictured my approval documents with a big rubber stamped red approved over it, pictured myself getting the good news from the IP over the phone...but that's just me and my positive thinking for ya!

Hi Fuzzy,
I had my creditors last week and much like yourself I was secretly hoping for an approval but half of me was ready for a no....it was quite a strange emotion, I wanted a yes but had resigned myself for a no......my thinking was that regardless of the outcome there was still a different path to choose, with you its carrying on with a DMP with me it was BR despite me having a mortgaged property.I personally believe that if you put forward your best offer then there should be no reason for it to be rejected. Try not to fret over something that you have no control over.....save your energy. What dividend to your creditors is being offered? I know it will be playing on your mind but just take a deep breath and keepyourself busy. I really do hope you get a positive outcome and I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Good luck for thurs fuzzy.Funnily enough,i was pretty calm by the time my meeting came round,as i was also doing my best to put any negative thoughts out of my mind.I also kept myself extremely busy so that i didnt have time to think about it.& if i did ever have an anxious moment i would just tell myself that even if my iva didnt get approved,i still had the option of doing a dmp.I know it's easy to say,but try not to worry. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you[:)]x

Your IP wouldn't have submitted the proposal if they felt it was not going to be approved. I know it is easier to say than do - but relax and try and keep busy especially on the day !
