Most of mine is gone on DD's just after payday. Got no savings, so no worries there!

As long as you have less than £50,000 in a UK bank or building society your money is safe. Don't worry.

I think it would be safe to say that the majority of us on here will never have anywhere near that much as savings!

Did not mean to sound patronising - just giving everyone here the facts. Deposits are all safe in british banks and building societies so no one should worry (up to the limit I previosly stated)>

I've got £30 in Nationwide at the moment and a tenner in the Co-op so I'm not worrying too much!
