My IVA will be six years old next week. I settled it, in full around three years ago. Will I need to ask credit ref. agencies to remove it from my file. or will it be removed automatically please?

Thanks,
julann

Thank you. Hoping that getting back to normal isn't going to be too complicated.

Hi
THe redord of your IVA will simply fall off your credit file when it is six years old.
I would check your credit report a month after the six year anniversery

Thanks,

I did find it easier to obtain catalogue accounts and a small credit card limit once the IVA was settled. Since then, I have maintained a clean credit file. Does this imply a good credit score once the IVA drops off next week please?

Many thanks,
julann

More than likely yes - you could write to all the credit reference agencies to ensure it is removed from your file
