Hi All

Yes, saw this on the news today. it does not surprise me if you follow what is going on out there. The more chaotic the financial world gets the more the vultures gather to expand the fat portfolios even more. The main concern I have is no one seems to be coming to the aid of those of us who are struggling to cope with debt, we still get the letters and calls. Today we hear that some people who work inlocal govt might not be paid becasue local authorities used the interest on deposits to pay salaries. This cavalier approach to money in local authority is worrying me greatly. Who is going to be held to account on this one?

Goes to show there are always winners even in adversity.

This would be a worry for me as Britannia were a creditor in my bankruptcy as my previous mortgage was with them.

You might be ok - I have read about a couple of people who had a Cashminder account even though the Co-op themselves were a creditor.

I would be surprised though if the Co-op sold out their morals in any merger too.

I hope not - it's quite nice knowing that they are choosy where they invest their money.
