i started my iva as a single person. i have just got married,will my wife be dragged into the agreement?

Hey there and welcome to the forum. No dragging involved! However your household income and expenditure will change so you'll need to notify your IP. They just want to see that you are both paying your fair share of the household expenses. Your payments may increase.

Viki,you say about both paying fair shares into the iva but I am sure you mean to make sure you are both paying your fair share of the household bills,as Marky's wife will not be liable for any of his IVA payments.

Your wife's income will need to be taken into consideration purely to make sure you both pay a fair share towards the household based on each of your wages. Your IVA payment MAY increase because obvioulsly now, your household bills are shared.
After demonstrating that she is paying her fair share, the rest of your wife's money is hers to keep.
