Have been in IVA for 18 months now and apart from the usual initial teething problems all seems to be going ok.
However just this morning i have received a credit card statement with a final demand from RBS demanding i pay the balance of nmy credit card bill. I'm sure its just something that will be sorted by passing it onto my IP but i just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and quite frankly how this can suddenly appear after 18 months.
Very Odd.

A lot of people on here seem to have had these. I would just forward it onto your IP and don't worry about it.

New legislation was introduced on 1 October 2008 which states that lenders have to send a statement of account to their customers at least once per year. It seems that some banks have interpreted incorrectly that this also extends to people in IVAs.

I hope all my creditors decide against sending statements to me - since our IVA started we have moved twice and the postal redirection has now ceased so the new people in our house would get a huge shock if they opened the envelopes !

I remember that stuff - Izal it is called, and I think you can still get it. It always used to say 'now wash your hands please' on each sheet! One side was shiny and the other side was not absorbent at all! Complete waste of time!

Yup you can still get it but I am not sure who uses it. May as well go get some bark off a tree and scrape your backside to bits with that instead!!!

Yep, it's awful stuff! I suppose some people must use it as it's still going
Whoever invented the soft stuff - thank you so much for rescuing us from a lifetime of sore bums!
