Hello, im currently trying to work out my monthly spends etc before speaking to professionals for proceedings on an iva. just wondered what is a normal ammount to allow each month for spare money eg money to buy toiletries, clothes, social money, car repair work etc or will the ip go through this with me to work it out on an individual basis? thanks R

Yes rochelle, the IP will go through all of this with you, put down exactly what you spend. Here is a list of typical outgoings although some luxuries won't be allowed.

The CCCS guidelines are there for guidance only, and you really should just tell the IP what you actually spend in reality - so try and work back what you have spent out over the last few weeks as a basis. They will tell you if your figures are unrealistic and likely to be rejected by creditors.
