8 months on from being declared bankrupt, one of my creditors Capital One have sent me a letter today "pre-approving" me for one of their Classic cards [}:)].

Now I know if I applied i'd be turned down, and i'm in no way looking for credit, but it really shocks me that some companies are stupid enough to send out these mailings when they were only sending me threats of court action 8 months ago!

I have had two of these saying I am pre selected to apply. They went into the paper recycling bin after being shredded. Also loans from GE Money for a car. Plus provident really want to give me 500 pounds, today! So I can hit the shops and have a no worries Happy Christmas. Its the not so happy paying it back afterwards at 183% interest thats putting me off, so I dont think so.
