ive already asked this question but not sure where its gone!!!
im currently in iva which was approved in June.Just had letter today from eos soltions saying my freemans catalogue debt has been passed to them, the freemans is in the iva though??can they pass it on??

Yes, they can sell the debt on. This has happened to a couple of mine. Send the letter to your IP and don't worry about it!

Hi
You have nothing to worry about.The debt is included in your IVA.
Contact this new company and give them the details of your IP and company.

I have ring eos and told them about iva they said fine but they need the iva paperwork sending.I offered my ip's phone number but they said they cannot ring them direct due to data protection???

I think it means that they won't be able to discuss your account with your IP without your permission.
Get your IP to either ring them, or send them a copy of the paperwork.

Have tried to get in touch with ip company as usual no-one rung me back as yet...will ask them to forward paperwork though.Thanks for the replys!!xxx

i would just send your ip the paperwork that you have been sent from the company that have bought your debt you shouldnt have to run around chasing paperwork it will have said on the paper work they wont be in touch again i just binned all mine nothing to worry about.
they will be in touch with your ip anyway because if they dont they wont get any money for the debt they have bought for peanuts, you doing all the running about stressing is just making their job even easier[:I]pop them in a letter 2nd class to the ip he is on £50 an hour let him/her have the stress.[8D]

No need to panic, you shouldnt be paper chasing. Your paying someone else to do that in your IVa fees.
