Hi

I noticed today on my Bank Statement that the payment for my IVA went out of my Bank Account yesterday, then was refunded back into my account. this means I have missed a payment, how do i rectify this? I pay by standing order but have no details just a reference number, and my name on the account. Can i leave it in and pay double next month, by amending the SO amount. or will i need to pay this month.
Not sure why it has been refunded. Haven't contacted HSBC yet to find out why this has happened.
Thanks [:(!]

The very same thing happened to hubby during his IVA.
The bank told him that the Standing Order had been cancelled. Neither of us had cancelled it.
He rang his IVA provider and they were actually very understanding and told him to send a payment to them and set up the standing order again for the following month.

Hi Mrs skint

My Standing Order is still live, so dont understand why they have returned the payment. Dont want to get behind on my payments, I also dont really want nearly 500.00 in my account, which isn't mine. I will contact my IP tomorrow to ask if i need to send payment.

Thanks

Hubby's online banking said his SO was still active too but the bank insisted it had been cancelled.
I'm sure your IP will be ok if the payment is just a few days late because of this so dont worry xx

Ring your bank and ask them to remit it again as it appears they have made the mistake.
