Hi again,

My IP has been pretty much on the ball & have no complaints but I have not had a definite answer to the question, "have my creditors been informed of my situation"? my creditors meeting is on the 26th Nov so can I assume they all know about my application for an IVA.

Thinking of writing letters but if they alreay know?

Cheers
Steve

Chase your Nominee (IP) to ascertain that everything has gone out to your creditors. He/she should have sent you a copy.

I don't think you should write independantly to your creditors though.

Your IP must have circulated creditors with a copy of the proposal when the meeting was called. I too am suprised that you have not had a copy of the proposals, by way of confirmation.

We encourage clients to write to their clients right at the beginning of proceedings, but I share David's view that this may not be appropriate at this stage, and would probably annoy your IP.

Do get them to send you a copy of the proposals out though.

Sorry Melanie I have not been clear! I have recieved the signed copy of the proposal along with the nominee signatures & T&c's, I guess this is what is sent to the creditors?

I will take David's advice regarding sending letters
