Hi there....I have just picked up my wages for this month and have earned 62p more than what I am allowed to earn before paying 50% into my IVA (if that makes sense) do have have to declair 31p, it just doesn't seem worth it.

I doubt any IP would expect you to pay that over Suze.

Hi there it is usual for any windfall/bonus/overtime etc etc to be picked up at the annual review not on a month by month basis, so i would not worry, just keep all your payslips safe for when the are requested for the review.

Hi Suze
I would not expect any of my clients to send me a cheque for 31p. It would make me smile a lot however if one of them rang me up to declare it and ask what they should do [:D]

Suze, well done for asking the type of question that many people will worry about and few will actually have the guts to ask. Keep an eye on your earnings(as you clearly are doing),so you know exactly how much extra your IP may want from you come review time. For some people it can build up if not kept on top of,for others it may turn out to be pennies.
