Ive just received the strangest phonecall,an automated call, telling me that if I cannot pay all my debts I just have to press 2 on my phone and they'll solve all my problems only wish life was so simple.

There's one or two people on here have received calls like this. I take it you didn't press the button?
Did you do a 1471 to see where it came from?

Didn't waste my time pressin 2 but no was *number removed* god knows who that is.
Sorry Hallway, had to remove the number from the post.
I have checked on a couple of sites and can't find out who they are.

we are getting these through our work phone as well - as a government dept we have reported them further - not sure what can be done as the numbers are picked at random !

I had one of these last week too, the voice said, if I owed more than £5000 and have benefits or a job with an income, all my problems would be solved if I press 2. I didnt. Its tosh and you end up paying for the call!!!
