Hi Everyone,

Although we had our IVA approved a couple of weeks back, N.Rock are trying to obtain a Charging Order through the Courts in January..We have sent all the information to our IP regarding this!!...However, this morning we have received a letter from EuroDebt Financial Services stating that they "would like to help us with our CCJ " by offering us a low affordable monthly repayment[:0]...What we were wondering was, how did this Company find out about our CCJ?...They even know the Judgement Number and the date it was issued...We've never heard of them and were just wondering how these companies get to find out this information...sorry if we're being a bit thick here but really puzzled by how they get to know this information!!..Thanks in advance..xx

Hey DM, maybe they got the info from the court, I wonder whether it's public knowledge. I've googled them and they are a debt management company so they obviously don't know you are in an IVA. X

Hi Viki, we didn't think to google the name and don't really understand much about CCJ's never having had one before but we always thought that Court Cases were confidential, perhaps not though....xx

I'm not sure either. Maybe someone with a bit more info on the courts can let us know. Cheeky though aren't they? They are just trying to get some business.

Euro Debt Financial Services DO NOT USE THEM!
this is who I used before I went in a IVA they charge you a stupid amount of money for setting the plan up and with mine interest payments carried on well I was in the plan adding 8 grand to my debts and they never told me.

Hi Chris,

Sorry, we must have posted at the same time...We won't be using them at all as we are now in an IVA.We just wanted to know how they knew about our CCJ but it's always good to get feedback and we're glad we never used them, if they're that bad..xx[:)]
