i have been filling out the insolvency forms online to go bankrupt, and am in the final stages of completing them, however i have just recieved a letter from my failed IVA to say they are starting bankruptcy proceedings in 14 days. My question is, is it better for me to make myself bankrupt or let the procedure take its course from the IVA solicitors? Any advice welcome

Hey Rich, if they are going to make you bankrupt then you don't have to pay the fee.[;)] Not sure of the timescale though, I'm sure Melanie will be along to advise you.

Hey Rich

I completely agree with the other, let them make you Bankrupt and save your money.

Agreed - if the Supervisor is in the process of making you bankrupt, it is better all round for everyone - and importantly saves you that fee.
