I have been reading lots of posts on this forum and they have all been very helpful. I am going through the stages with Payplan for an IVA and have just signed and submitted everything back to them this week. Just got to wait now...........and not being the most patient of people this is a real challenge!

Anyway I just wanted to say "hi".

Hi 1 step,

I have just started an IVA with payplan & it was all done & dusted in 7-8 weeks & I have to say they were very good throughout[:)] hope it all goes well for you & you can start getting yourself back on track!

Thank you for the great replies. Can I ask, once you sent your signed proposal to Payplan how long did you have to wait for your creditors's meeting?

I must admit, the feeling of using actual cash which is your own is fantastic! Paying nominal payments felt a little wierd. And only a few weeks ago I felt rock bottom but much better now.

Have a good evening all,

It is strange looking at my account & seeing CR! i am being careful with everything I spend & at the moment & it is ok but I know there will be tougher times ahead[:(] it was about 4 weeks 1 step once I signed & sent off the proposal.

Hi I step closer
Payplan are a very reputable company.
Put you trust in them to deliver.
Have they advised making token payments to your creditors whilst you wait ?

Hi, and good luck from me too. I am 8 months into an IVA with Payplan. It took us about 8 weeks from start to finish and so far they have been looking after us very well.

Hi 1step, welcome to the forum. Well done for getting your proposal in. The feeling of using your OWN cash instead of credit cards is great isn't it?

Good luck!

Hi! Sorry I havent been on it is manic at work right now. I am still making token payments would rather do that than do nothing if you see what I mean! I managed to get in some overtime which is very rare so that is helping big style. Our co doesnt normally do overtime but we are so busy right now, they havent much choice.

Best of all, its pay day next Monday - and I still have money!!!!! woohoo!

Take care all
