morning. just a quick question please, I have just received a £250.00 christmas bomus. do I need to inform my ip of this and will I have to pay this into my iva?

That would all depend on the wording in your proposal regarding bonuses and extra monies.
Have a read through and if you can't find anything, i would give your IP a call and find out where you stand.

you will find you have to give 50% over

Not necessarily James - it does depend upon the terms of the specific proposal, but always best to declare this and take guidance from the IP as to what to do before the money is actually spent.

Hi Melanie

Thanks for your reply, I will get in touch with my IP tomorrow, hope I can keep it, as it will make Christmas a bit easier, but if its taken from me then so be it, Merry Christmas by the way to everyone I know its abit early, but just incase i'm not on before. Anyway im celebrating my 1/2 way stage of my IVA so I am happy
