hello, i had my creditors meeting today. all voted to accept except mbna- no big shock they said no but barclaycard said they always sell debts onto an agency but for some unknown reason they havent done this with mine yet so decided they would try and do this today but with everyone working only upto lunch i havent had a final answer yet and prob wont get it until 30th. i started the process mid October and i find it frustrating that its still going on. i wont let it ruin my xmas but needed to vent!!! being on a v tight budget for xmas this year i think has made me pout much more effort into gifts which isgood, also nice to not have to worry about it all being on a credit card, big smiles
happy christmas to everyone xx

Rochelle, that is terrible when you were obviously looking forward to a stress free Christmas!
Fingers crossed that MBNA get some Christmas spirit before the 30th.
Have a great Christmas anyway!

Did mbna have sufficient of your votes to block your IVA proposal?

Yes MBNA did have sufficient votes to block the proposal, the matter is in hand and being dealt with, and I am sure this will be sorted for Rochelle very soon.

If it does not get sorted - get me the facts about MBNA and I will attempt to assess it for you.

Surely it is down to the IP who has put the proposal forward to sort out.

Can I just say that I am acting for Rochelle, and whilst I do not wish to dislose the actual facts of this case on the world wide web, I am confident that this will be sorted early next week. There will be no need to contact MBNA and sometimes we just need to be a little patient to achieve the right result.

Sorry Melanie - was not aware that you acted. Certainly will leave it in your capable hands.
