good afternoon wonderful forum peeps.
just a quick one as ive just been accepted for my iva a week last monday obviously it will take time for all the various bods to receive info.
im which case how come i am receiving nearly double the amount of letters from my creditors-not just statements but the hello you havent paid us for ages type ones-just thought it strange that i get more from them now than i did pre-iva. im not worried-just find it bizarre-maybe theyre writing to check on my welfare-or maybe not [:D]

The monkeys at the bottom of the slime chain haven't been told yet Fergie, and most of these letters are automated anyway. Just send them off to Melanie as I believe she likes to see them.
They can't touch you, so just think about how much money they are wasting!

Hi
It will take a few weeks to sort it's self out.
As you said, you are not worried because you are now fully protected by your IVA

Such a waste of time, paper and stamps - but the wheels unfortunately turn slowly in some of these firms. At least you know that the letters don't mean anything any more, and that the creditors cannot touch you!

Some creditors just like to waste paper and peoples time and energy. You are fully protected from everybody now that your IVA has been approved, so please don't be concerned regarding them. Its more annoying that you are getting them.
It does take a while until the information regarding your IVA filters through to the correct depts. This will be sorted, eventually.
In the meantime, just open the letter, and have great joy in shredding it.
Good luck with the IVA.

Send to Mel or burn them or use them in the loo - if paper is soft!
