Hello,
I am 32 months into my IVA, originally with clearstart but now its DFD. DFD contacted me via letter two months ago to say my IVA was in arrears and would I pay £142 or contact them to arrange to pay monthly. My payments have increased yearly with my salary, and I have never failed one. When I rang they stated it was due to a delay after my first and second year reviews, between tham increasing my payments and taking them from my bank. Following each review, on the day I have recieved my new sum via letter, I have increased my standing order accordingly. It is not my error if they were delayed in deciding my new monthly figure, and how can they request 'arrears' over 18mths later? I sent a letter explaining my concerns on this matter, and asking for clarification from them. I have since heard nothing. My query is whether to just leave it or chase it up? I obviously do not feel I should pay this money, but do not want to think my IVA may be showing arreas? What do I do?
Thanks - this forum is invaluable, I have only just found it and suddenly all these worries I have had but no-one to discuss them with are pouring out!

Yet again, DFD failing on the communication front.

Have you tried emailing your IP direct?

If you are not sure of how to contact him, try this:

http://www.insolvency-service.co.uk/newipsearch.htm

It should give you his email address. Don't be fobbed off by an office worker.
