They should provide you with a new supervisor. We're on our second at the moment, and that may well have changed before we do our annual review!

I was only in an IVA for 4 months and I had 2 supervisors! I received a letter confirming that the new supervisor had been appointed by order of the court and giving me his details.

We only found out when she phoned to see how we were getting on! Never got an official letter.

That's about the only thing that impressed me about my IVA, the fact they actually told me!

Hi Steve - a few of the IPs have left that company, but your IVA ought to have been transferred to an alterative IP inhouse. Give Michael Peoples a ring and he will advise you who is not acting, but it is nothing to worry about as the continuity of your case ought not to be affected.

Hi Steve. Do not worry about changes of supervisor as it is common enough for IPs to retire or to move on. I apologise if this has concerned you and do not hesitate to give me a call as Melanie says and I can put your mind at ease. I can assure you that any queries about your annual report will be addressed immediately by the new IP, his or her staff or the manager of the supervisory department.

Thank you Michael and Mel, I was just a little concerned I was advised of the situation. I also had not been sent an I & E but that now has been addressed.

Changes happen when IP's retire, die or resign. The firm will then apply to Court for an order appointing a new supervisor. The firm though should advise you in any event.
