can anyone tell me how long a variation meeting takes to set up approx?

It can really vary depending on the workload of your IP firm, and any period of up to three months would not be unreasonable.

What has your own IP firm quoted to you?

hi they asked for it in a letter my offer and reasons etc but i am not sure if i should phone them or just wait on a letter from them so 3 months possibly [:0]

I would just check that the letter has been recieved then just sit tight and wait.

I cannot see why it should take 3 months. Once my firm has accepted a basis for a variation meeting we sort it and have it done and dusted within 3 to 4 weeks! Ask your IP why it will take up to 3 months.
