Hi,

Hope someone can help me. I got my annual income obligation form from Blair Endersby today and they want £349.57, and as much as I realise I owe this due to overtime, I don't have it! Do you know if they would accept this in 7 payments of £50? Will have to cut down on the shopping etc.... My kids love beans on toast! lol

I am a little unhappy with them, as i recently requested a new I and E form as my mortgage is going down in Feb, but my wages have reduced just as much, as I am now on a flat rate due to an overtime ban, and this seems to be how it is going to continue to be for some time! They always say its in the post!!!! but I never get it! Only the letters requesting money!

Thanks

Gill

i wouldnt stretch yourself with the £50 this is extra income to the iva and they accepted the proposal as it was explain to the ip you needed it for extra expence i am sure you will have used more petrol or other expenses in the year.to be honest i would give him it straight i dont have the money to give but will make sure anymore will come their way.

i think they post on this forum they will know no one has £50 spare cash when your in an iva surely they will see sense come on blair

I had to miss a months payment (boilder repairs and new washing machine) value £540, I had the option of tagging this onto the end of my IVA but I chose to pay £60 a month to clear my arrears. It is possible by being even more frugal and am so glad I chose to do it this way. Jan and Feb to pay and then I'm free of arrears and IVA will only run for 60 months.

yes i see your point but this isnt a payment miss it is extra income that the creditors are getting ontop of the iva payments that was used to survive on i hope blair easterby understand this[:)]trying to pay more just puts extra strain on the survival rate of the iva

Gill, firstly yes we would encourage you to get in touch to discuss the payment of the £349 via an arrangment you feel comfortable with -we will be as flexible as we can be.
Having said that it appears we may need to take changes in your mortgage etc into consideration aswell. The person you speak to about the £349 can also complete an income & expenditure over the phone providing you have the figures to hand (this is something new we have only just rolled out to all advisors to speed things up)
If you dont have your new mortgage payment figure yet then please call and agree a date when it would be best to speak to you again.
Please use the number on the letter we have sent regarding your annual income.
If you are still not happy with the way your case is being handled please email me directly using trhe address below.
I hope that puts your mind at rest.

so are you saying blair endersby that when the new I+E form is sorted if gill is showing a shortfall then surely this extra income will have been needed and he wont owe that much?

I think what they are saying is that they will review her case again with sight of the new information. IPs are not here to take money off people who cannot afford it, but we are duty bound to supervise the IVA in the manner originally directed by creditors. I am sure that there will be a sensible solution brokered here between IP and client.

I will try and call them today, but working full time, it can sometimes be impossible. i know that they are there of an evening, but I had a bad experience with an agent from their company and have lost confidence and would prefer to speak to someone higher.

Speak to the IP - they have to take responsibility for you as a client - especially if you are struggling with something. Which firm are you with?

I have requested numerous times to speak to an IP, and was actually laughed at by a member of staff once for asking! It just never happens!

Try emailing your IP direct. You should be able to find his address from this:

http://www.insolvency-service.co.uk/newipsearch.htm

Also, try using the email link posted above by Blair Endersby - you might get some luck that way.

I spoke to a nice lady in payments department who has advised me that even if my wages have gone down and also my mortgage, so long as I can make repayments, i don't need to inform them of the differences, as this will be done next December. It doesn't sound right! and that the amount showing on the income statement was a minus figure! so i dont owe them anything! I am confused about not delcaring the difference in my wages and mortgage though?
