Hi i have just completed an IVA with pay plan and received my completion certificate. How do i notify the credit agency's that i have finished and will it make a difference me doing this?
it was 5 years of worry , but now it done i feel so much better.
will be informing the credit agency i have completed help my credit rating?
confused.... ps im new, so hi everyone [:p]

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Congratulations on reaching the end, it must be a huge relief for you.
You could send a copy of the certificate to all the credit reference agencies so your file can be marked as satisfied. However, the defaults will remain on there until 6 years from the date the IVA was accepted.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on completing your IVA. You've managed without credit for 5 years - one more won't seem too bad! As Mrs Skint says, I'm sure your experience will be invaluable to those of us at various stages in our IVAs, so please keep posting. For example many of us will be interested in your progress in building up your credit score which is a bit of a mystery to many of us!!

yes it was a huge relief off my shoulders, took over 3 months from the last payment to the letter arriving and then finally knowing its over.
im a newbie but im happy to talk about how it went.

Congratulations on finishing.
I'm 9 months into mine, also with Payplan, so would be interested to hear how you have found them over the 5 years.

i found payplan more than helpful, dealt mostly with a lady called katie, and amy, both had time to speak and help out.
i had to once take a payment break (which is added on to the end) and they where fine with it, i/e forms filled in each month fine no problems.
all in all very helpful.
you should not have any problems with it [8D]

if you ever had anything to ask, just ring them, quote your number on the system and your automatically put in touch with your case officer. or email them , the email address of your case officer will be on the top right of any letters they send you.
i got replys next working day.
really pleased with payplan.

I've got that justabank thing with them as well, so I can check online at anytime.

Despite having several glitches throughout the year I have always found them very helpful. Just completed my review on the telephone with no problems at all. Fax them my payslips every quarter and no additional monies to pay so I'm relieved. Asked them to increase some of my allowances and they were very realistic as to the various rises in cost of living. With pay rises and mortgage reduction I have only therefore had to increase my payment by a third of the extra disposable income that we have accrued.
All in all although I am more than happy with the service I went with them before I was aware of this website. Im not sure if they post on here.
I think, however, that with Mel, David etc etc and the other IP's who post on here there is better transparency about the IVA processes/rules they adopt and what you can expect.

There is someone from Payplan who posts on here occasionally.
We've never had to send payslips across at all. Mind you, I never work any overtime,and hubby is on a pension, so perhaps that's why.
I do know that when our annual review comes (and that won't be long now), we have to supply with them with the last 3, plus our P60.
